Dr. Osborne D’Souza is excited to announce the opening of his new medical practice, St. Jude’s Internal Medicine, LLC, on August 2, 2010, located at 1198 Buckhead Crossing Suite C, in Woodstock, Georgia. Dr. D’Souza is no stranger to the area. He has been in practice in the same area since April 2004 and over the years, has garnered the respect of a large and loyal following of patients and their extended families.
He trained at and graduated with a Medical Degree from St. John’s Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore, India in 1988. Soon afterwards, he went to England, U.K., where he worked and studied at Joyce Green & West Hill Hospital, Dartford, Kent, among other institutions in the U.K.’s National Health Service.
Dr. D’Souza then did his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse, New York, training at University Hospital, Crouse Irving Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital. He is presently Board Certified in Internal Medicine
He then worked briefly in Kansas and South Georgia before transitioning to Woodstock, Cherokee County, in 2004. Dr. D’Souza has a passion for health promotion and the prevention and treatment of diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cholesterol issues, as well as general healthcare.
